Zscaler, Inc., the leader in cloud security, announced its attainment of Information Systems Security Management and Assessment Program (ISMAP) Compliance for its Zscaler Internet AccessTM for Japanese Government and Zscaler Private AccessTM for Japanese Government services. As an ISMAP-certified enterprise, Zscaler is able to provide its public sector customers in Japan with the ability to accelerate digital and security transformation. Following zero trust principles, The Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange™ platform is designed to secure critical infrastructure, and this certification is evidence of the high standards of security the platform is providing to our expanding base of public sector customers in the market.

Zscaler is also the only cloud security service provider to have all core solutions in its portfolio of products authorized through the U.S. Federal government’s FedRAMP program at High and Moderate levels. In addition, Zscaler complies with NIST 800-63C, NIST 800-53, NIST 800-207 as well as being certified by other large international government agencies such as Germany, Australia, U.K. and numerous key markets.

“The ISMAP compliance is a step in the right direction as we work to provide our customers in Japan with the best-of-breed solutions for their cybersecurity needs. The Japanese government set a goal to digitize their public sector systems in partnership with the private sector back in 2020 and Zscaler is committed to being a catalyst as we make great strides towards this goal,” added Hiroyuki Kaneda, Area Vice President, Asia, Zscaler. “We will continue to work closely with the public sector agencies to build a digital ecosystem that can be leveraged to seize opportunities and dampen shockwaves.”
