Nat's Transformation journey
Nat Smith is a senior director of product management at Zscaler, where he works with customers to architect their own transformations and develops market insights to inform engineering teams. Prior to joining the company, he was a vice president security analyst in the Technology and Service Provider division of Gartner, researching emerging technology and trends for technology product leaders. Research technology, markets and trends impacting network security especially artificial intelligence and machine learning. This focus includes secure access services edge (SASE), network detection and response (NDR), network firewalls, firewall-as-a-service (FWaaS), security service edge (SSE), secure web gateways (SWG), zero trust network access (ZTNA), zero trust, advanced threats and cloud security.
He has also worked for Fortinet, McAfee, and AT&T, among other technology companies. He holds a BS and an MBA from Brigham Young University.
