Derek Anthony is a technology leader with over 25 years of experience, currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at bp. He has been with bp for nearly 14 years, holding various senior roles including SVP of Transformation & Integration, VP of Digital Strategy, and Head of the Transformation Office. Derek’s expertise spans IT strategy, enterprise architecture, and business analysis, with a strong focus on digital innovation and cyber resilience. He holds a BS in Biomedical Engineering from Texas A&M University and has completed an Executive Management Programme at Boston University.
