The Attacker Within: How Hackers are Targeting Enterprises from the Inside-Out
Comprehensive Approach to Web Security

URL filtering has become a standard control within most enterprises to enforce policy for Internet bound traffic. However, with Web 2.0, as dynamic and user generated content becomes the norm, static URL databases are of limited effectiveness.
Active content is useful but it can be malicious. Botnets and P2P pose many threats. Employees publishing inappropriate or confidential content on blogs and social networks can cause data leakage and create liability. Road warriors and smart phone users further exacerbate this problem—their access to the Internet often bypasses all security controls.
Security and network administrators are expected to tackle these growing problems with tighter budget especially in today’s business environment. Plethora of point appliances that are overwhelming to manage isn’t helping the situation.

We are glad to bring you a keynote from Brian Burke, program director at IDC to cover newer challenges and defense.
